I was a 4th grade teacher for three years. After the birth of our son, Jeff, I became a stay at home mom for the next 8 years. In 1983 I returned to teaching, this time as an elementary PE teacher and middle school tennis coach. I retired from teaching in 2007 and from coaching in 2010. Jack and I enjoy traveling and family. Our biggest joy being our 2 grandchildren who also live in Independence.
